Emergency Shelter

Shelter Request Information

Grundy Area PADS offers a safe place to stay for people who live in Grundy County and need emergency shelter.

We cannot promise everyone a shelter stay due to limited funding, space, and resources. However, one of our PADS members will work with you to understand your needs. We will help you identify other resources to help you, even if we can't provide them directly.

Our emergency shelters are open from mid-October to April, depending on our funding capabilities. After you request shelter, one of our teams will contact you as soon as possible.

If you have already requested shelter after September 2023, you don't need to ask again because we already have your information. If you requested shelter before September 2023 and still need somewhere to stay, please submit an updated request.
